Have you ever been away from the mechanic you trust and had the “Check Engine” light (“CEL”) come on, then call the shop not knowing what to do?

Imagine if you could make that phone call and have your trusted mechanic tell you what the problem is. This is what we refer to as our “Remote Assistance Program”.

How would you like A’s Garage to help guide you, wherever you might be, without having to troubleshoot your own vehicle? We’ve just begun using a product that allows our team to remotely see the codes that cause your check engine light, right from our computers here at the shop. This invaluable tool will help us determine if you should continue driving your vehicle or if you should bring your vehicle in right away.

How does it work?

A’s Garage will plug a small device into your vehicle that sends our shop a text and email alerting us of the trouble code(s) your car has. We can even erase the codes remotely depending on the system(s) affected.

What about my privacy?

There’s no tracking or GPS. We will not know where you are, but we will know how your car is performing. The only thing we will be keeping an eye on is your vehicle’s health.
